AUTHENTIC MOVEMENT Beverley faciliates one-to-one sessions and groups in this practice which connects us through movement to the stories of our personal and collective experiences. It is a careful and attentive discipline, which cultivates an impeccable presence in both our moving and witnessing, giving space for our experiences to be integrated through speaking, drawing and writing. For more insights see Authentic Movement Community website.
INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK & MOVEMENT THERAPY This is a somatic approach to health and well-being drawing on the principles of BodyMind Centering, Authentic Movement and Somatic Psychology. It is helpful for addressing postural/structural tensions, chronic conditions, and recovery strategies. The work is also beneficial to those involved with the speaking therapies. Sessions are usually floor-based and may include any or all of the following modalities: hands-on bodywork, developmental movement, breath awareness, body-centred dialogue, drawing, and restorative yoga postures.
