Beverley Nolan Yoga Teacher and Embodied Anatomy Teacher

Experience & Approach

I have been a yoga practitioner and teacher for more than 35 years, originally in the Iyengar tradition and then influenced by the world of somatics and Authentic Movement.

I draw on the principles of IBMT and BodyMind Centering® and the Feldenkrais® approach to intelligent movement, so always expect attention to detail and a slow mindful approach to moving through your practice with me.

I am registered with Yoga Alliance E-RYT500, am a BWY-RT. I am also registered at YACEP (YA Continuing Education Provider). I have completed a Foundation Course in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TC-TSY) and completed Yoga Outreach (Core Training).

In addition, I am Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator. I hold a Diploma from the Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy and I am a former faculty member teaching in the UK, Russia and Lithuania.

Trainer & Innovator

I am the Founder and Director of Studies at Barefoot Body Training.

Working with experienced and inspiring colleagues I have curated a

programme of yoga trainings.

The aim is to offer a somatic approach to practice and teaching that is trauma-informed and inspired by accessibility and inclusion with professional ethics at the heart of all that we do.

Looking for a great Trainer?

If you run a studio and are looking to expand your workshops and short courses, please get in touch for my portfolio of CPDs covering embodied anatomy and developmental movement for yoga settings.

I have half-day, full-day and longer in-depth content, or we can tailor to your groups.

I have contributed to UK trainings for YogaCampus, British Wheel of Yoga, The Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy, Yoga United and Camyoga, as well as smaller studio settings.
